Its more for the students/next generation of season ticket holders than anything else.  Why do you think SC is blaring SandStorm every chance they get

I feel sorry for the fans who are seated by the speakers. We had a skybox at you know where a couple of years ago and the speakers were just to the left of the open window to the field. It was horrible.

All SEC stadiums are doing that now.  They got permission from the SEC/NCAA to do it.
We're just like the NFL now.  Or…  the Arena League!  This is part of that "enhanced fan experience" they were talking about.
