Jeff Driskel ranks dead last in national passing leaders category
The stats just keep looking worse for Florida QB Jeff Driskel, and for Gators fans who are losing their patience with him.
Driskel ranks dead last in yards per attempt. When Driskel throws the ball he's averaging 5.5 yards per pass. What's even worse, former Gators QB Tyler Murphy, who now plays for Boston College, is one spot above Driskel. Driskel also ranks 89th in quarterback rating, only 100 college football quarterbacks qualify.
Also, Clemson true freshman QB Deshaun Watson ranks fifth in the category. So, he's proving that true freshmen can go out on Saturdays and compete with the best of them.
But, still, Will Muschamp has said he's sticking with Driskel as his starting quarterback.
