Ladies … he's taken.

Former University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow is engaged to Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, a 23-year-old native of South Africa and the 2017 Miss Universe.

Tebow himself broke the news on Instagram Thursday with a picture of him on bended knee at an undisclosed location, in front of an outdoor awning with woods in the background.

"Thank you for saying YES and making me the happiest man in the world," Tebow posted. "You're the love of my life, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."

Nel-Peters also posted: "Any dreams I've ever had, you've exceeded them all! I love you and I can't wait to spend forever with you!"

Tebow, 31, is playing professional baseball in the New York Mets chain and is a college football analyst for the SEC Network. After playing for three years at Nease High School, he went on to a star-studded four-year career with the Gators, winning the Heisman Trophy in 2007 and playing for two national championship and two SEC champion teams.

After playing for Denver, the New York Jets, Philadelphia and a stint during the preseason with New England, Tebow gave up football and began training for an attempt at the Major Leagues. He's batted .244 with 14 home runs and 88 RBI in 210 minor league games and might have been called up to the Mets from Double-A Binghamton had it not been for a broken bone in his right hand.

Tebow hit .273 with six homers and 36 RBI for the Rumble Ponies.

[gatortalk] FW: [gatornews] [SUN]: Gators gain Louisville transfer

More credit to this coaching staff.

One of the reasons for their success in 2018 was through transfers filling needs.

Here they go again.

Gators gain Louisville transfer

Florida may have found a pass rusher to fill the void left by the early departure of defensive end/outside linebacker Jachai Polite.

Actually, he has found the Gators.

Former Louisville defensive end/outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard announced on Twitter on Wednesday night that he is enrolling in classes at UF on Thursday as a graduate transfer. He will participate in spring drills and will be eligible this fall.

Greenard has a connection at UF — defensive coordinator Todd Grantham, whom he played for at Louisville in 2016.

Greenard, who is from Hiram, Ga., sat out the 2018 season after injuring his wrist in Louisville's opener. He had been voted a team captain for the season.

In 2017, Greenard led the Cardinals in tackles for losses with 15.5. He also recorded seven sacks.

Two 4 star+ signees in a couple of days should move us up in the rankings.
Won't this put us in the top 5?

Without Steele, we were 11th with 252 points on 23 commits;

That's an average of 12 per commit.

Assuming a 5* is worth more than than the 3 and 4 stars we have so far; add about 15 points, I would guess.

Anything above 265 puts us 4th.

Penn State has the potential to make a move as well, it would seem. 254 points on only 18 signees.
