Loving life up here! I, too, thought the weather would be horrible when I moved here 20 years ago, but it is quite nice on the eastern side of the state! My only complaint is that in the winter, it gets dark at 4pm! Ugh! That said, there are lots of upsides, too. Fresh apples, cherries, wine country, cheap golf, and football at 9am on Saturday mornings! (-:

P.S. Washington State is beautiful. I even like the weather there. I would trade it any day for PA. Washington State really tried hard to recruit me and even called my wife to get me to reconsider. Unfortunately, back then I had never visited there and I thought it would be horrible that far north. God has a strange sense of humor. I ended up at Appalachian State instead. Their winters made PA seem like Florida. What a mistake!
