I agree. The thing that scares me is that with Driskel's performances in the UK & Alabama games, it doesn't inspire much, if any, confidence in his abilities. The Vols D is better than UK's. I'm worried!

And Emmitt is a former Gator great who's blood, sweat, and tears helped form the modern day Gators. He doesn't collect a paycheck to meet deadlines and fulfill content obligations. He is a Gator deep down in his soul, just like many of us except he gave so much more on that field that any of us have in the stands. He is entitled to his opinions, and while maybe his timing is off, they are no less valid.
Driskell must sharpen up and perform or Muschamp is done. Either that or Muschamp gives him the hook. Mushcamp is in a very difficult position... If he wins with Driskell, he saves his job. Is that realistic? If he replaces him and fails with Treon, he might have a chance to survive as he made major changes in an attempt to win. If he wins with Treon, he looks like a genius.
I know which way I would go... I think Driskell has one more game to get it done... Be the quarterback we all want him to be, become the BMOC, quiet the haters, and inspire Gators everywhere... Anything less is going to cost someone a job-- himself or his coach.
I don't pretend to know anything about Emmitt's personal habits but I can tell you for a fact that our Gator beat writers Andreu and Dooley tend to write very critical initial assessments of the team until they've had a chance to "rest up"
