I thought the fireworks were great. I was hoping they were going to use them for every game.

According to Chip Howard, the associate athletic director in charge of the stadium, the idea came from feedback from fans. The original plan was to use them for the Idaho and Kentucky games (it's not cheap) and see what the reaction was. Obviously, the Idaho fireworks are in a dumpster somewhere after getting soaked. Now, the University Athletic Association will discuss when and where to use them in the future. I know my 13 year old loved them.
