[gatortalk] La'Mical Perine

This recruit is still a bit of a mystery to me.

Some UF releases touted him as two-time Alabama Offensive Player of the Year. I can find no confirmation of that.

He did seem to make first team All-State in the 7A division both junior and senior years.

Others called him the top RB recruit from the state of Alabama. Perhaps.

All seem to spell his first name incorrectly.

What is strange is that he seemed to only play in one game is senior year.

Two questions.

1. Why did he only play in one game?

2. How do you make first team all-state if you only play in one game?

If he were under the radar due to an injury, that might explain how we plucked him out of Alabama. Still, I sense there is a story here, I just can't find it.
