It would be bad enough if the gators were just an average team, but it's hard to fathom why or how they could be so much worse than average. Maybe Muschamp will get his agent to negotiate a settlement instead of waiting for the inevitable.

--You have to go back to the Dickey years....30+ years of good to great football down the drain. I wish I knew what the underlying problem is.

Muschamp will be out at the close of business this season---maybe sooner. This team is a complete shambles.Bad enough that the offense continues to stumble and bumble its way through games;now the special teams have fallen apart. The defense might as well stay on the field--how can they do worse?--
Driskel was supposed to be a "strength" of the new look offense under OC Roper;instead,he is the lynchpin of failure!Driskel has gone completely off the reservation. His time never really came, but it certainly has gone.As per usual, the O-line is dreadfully inadequate at either pass blocking or run blocking. These hot-shot receivers are,at worst, pedestrian. They continue to drop the ball, and their routes are pathetically inadequate. The running backs are good, but who can find the room to run?Hard to tote the rock when you are under pressure from tacklers as soon as you receive the hand off!Roper was hired to FIX the joke of an offense we had under both Peterson and Weiss;but so far,it seems that it's the same old thing---not much of anything good going on!
Watching the game tonight, you could see it in Coach Muschamp's eyes.He was a lost soul, bereft of answers. This team was supposedly so talented, the new offensive so explosive, the defense so tough....Well,it was EXPLOSIVE!!It has certainly BLOWN UP in the face of the coaching staff!
Will a change help?At this point, very doubtful.Who would be able to come in and right the Gators??If Muschamp can't squeeze the talent out of some of these players, who can?
In the past ten years,ONLY two teams have held their opponent to less than 120 total yards and lost---you guessed it,it is Florida!Pretty bad when you allow a team that was crushed by the BullPuppies look like a conference champion.
I've been a Gator fan for 44 years.I remember the lows as well as the highs.Seems that we are slipping into the realm of mediocrity again.I support Coach Muschamp, but it has become painfully obvious that something is just not right with the team.Something just isn't computing in these young minds, and it certainly is not translating onto the playing field.
