I don't know anything about these SW Florida Ivy League Hipsters, but I'm afraid they've come to play. I personally am very uncomfortable with this matchup. Can anyone provide a pregame update on their team. I have no idea what we are up against with them. Zeb? Somebody?

Picture Loyola-Marymount craziness of days gone by, or UNLV without the height.

Run, shoot and shoot some more. Some Euros to shoot from outside, a point guard with great court vision, and a bunch of small forward/big guards that run the floor and love to catch behind the back passes for dunks.

Fast hands on defense, and they overplay the passing lanes in order to get steals. They live on the fast break.

When it really gets going, it reminds me of Showtime with the Lakers and Magic Johnson.

When it doesn't get going, the wheels can come off as FGCU's half court game is average. Overplaying the passing lane can also leave it vulnerable to back door cuts by an experienced team. That is how Georgetown made back about 21 of its 25 point deficit.

UF can try to win by controlling the tempo, limiting turnovers, and exploiting back door cuts.

That would be dull, but should work.

More fun would be the following:

1. Play Boynton, but bar him from shooting from the outside; make him take all shots after attacking the basket.

2. Play Prather over Yeguete.

3. Tell all the players to run like the wind and see which team has the better athletes. I bet it is us.
