I could not agree more... This is bush league game planning at its worst!  You have the chance and opportunity to let this kid showcase his talents, the real offense under Roper, and you don't do it?  The entire team says he makes plays all over the field-- running the normal offense, and we are going to be even MORE conservative?  Stop protecting this kid... he is a player.  He gets it and the others do to.  Let them do what they came here to do... play Gators football!  Not this wretched "protect our precious freshmen" garbage.  There are freshmen QBs succeeding everywhere... are they similarly handcuffed by their coached?  Winston wasn't at FSU...

Well, there it is. Harris may be capable of sparking the offense, and turning the team around, but it sounds like the coaches have no intention of letting him try. If this really is their game plan, and not just some mind games with UGA, then we really do need a new coaching staff. Not that saying that is exactly a revelation, but you know what I mean. They've had two weeks and this is all they could come up with? It could be a very long afternoon, indeed.

Former Miami Booker T. Washington star Treon Harris replaces beleaguered starter Jeff Driskel, but Florida isn't giving the freshman quarterback much freedom in his first career start.
