I remember the season, and if my memory was correct, the criticism was of Foley for not supporting SOS after the Dockett incident.

 

We had one of the top teams in the county that year, barely losing to Tennessee in a game that was rescheduled due to 9/11.

 

Had that game not been rescheduled, Graham would have been able to rehab by the bowl game/playoff.

 

It was a terrible conflagration of bad events, between an FSU thug committing a criminal act that cost us a shot at the MNC, SOS calling him out on it, FSU's AD calling SOS a whiner, and our AD not publicly supporting our coach one iota.
