Yes, I don't think this game saves his job (though it sure feels good right now), but if we won every remaining game, and went to the SECCG and won that, then he should get another year to see if he can put this all together. Beating an undefeated and 2nd ranked FSU would be a signature win that would deserve acknowledgement. I don't think there's much chance of it happening, and I'm not sure it's in our long-term best interest, but I can't see Foley firing a coach who just won the SEC championship. Of course, there is no way we will do this by throwing six passes per game.

After the Kentucky game I asked a question if it was too early to be talking about a coaching change. The season seemed to be getting worse and worse and there was some expectation that Foley would announce a coaching change after the Georgia game. Clearly, this win will not be enough by itself to save Muschamp's job. But let's have a little fun speculating. What if, Florida wins out, beats Vandy, South Carolina, and Florida State? What if Missouri loses one of their remaining games and Florida ends up in the Championship game? What if Florida could win that game too. Would it be enough to save his job? Would we be able to recover our lost recruits?
