I think Caleb Brantley is going to eventually be really good, hopefully sooner than later. But let's temper the excitement. The kid is from Crescent City, FL....I own property near his High School, which is south of Palatka in RURAL Putnam County....This kid has played against the very lowest level of High School competition, with arguably less than stellar coaching...plus if you follow him on twitter, he's not the most mature sounding individual to say the least....
IMO, he's in for a RUDE awakening when fall practice starts, he may be a quick learner and be great, but I would look for him to really struggle at the beginning and go from there, depending on how fast he adapts will determine if he plays this year or not..
If you watch any of his High School film you will see he's so much bigger than the competition it's almost unfair....
But he has TALENT but does he have the maturity to adapt to SEC football at a high level, given his background, time will tell.
