I thought his story was odd too, but there are really good reasons for his moves.

He committed to Oklahoma State, but didn't sign.  He was also being recruited by Coach Mac at Colorado State and Nuss at Alabama.  Because he comes from a rich family, he took the opportunity to be a preferred walk on at Bama.

At the end of his first year Nuss left to go to Michigan and he transferred to OREGON State under MIke Riley.  He's there for a year and Riley leaves to go to Nebraska and they hire a spray option coach.  DelRio is a drop back guy so doesn't see a good fit.

In the meantime, Jeremy woke up from a three year slumber and canned the evil dawg coach.  Hires Coach Mac and Nuss, Del Rio starts singing " reunited and it feels so good".

Normally I would look at a guy with this many moves as a negative, but in this case it all makes sense.  If this was an assistant coach moving every year, no questions asked. But since it is a player, there must be something wrong with him.

I just know that Treon can not start next year, he is not an SEC caliber QB.  Whatever happened to Clarabelle?

There are some on Gator Country that claim to have heard that had Luke Del Rio been eligible to play this year he would have been our starter from day 1. I obviously can't vouch for the veracity of said claims, but in these dark days it's a comforting thought to hold on to versus the prospect of more Treon or any true freshman running the show.
