I was watching the Florida high school state championships in December, and during one of the games, they had a graphic with the number of 5 & 4 star athletes currently on the teams in the College National Championship Playoff. Oregon didn't have any 4-stars and hadn't had a class ranked over something like 33 for the past four years.
So I would say in Oregon's case - coaching. Those kids are either being developed or they know how to use the strengths of the kids they have.
From last night's game, I would say that you need the 5* and 4* on your OL and DL. That was the difference, IMHO. I mean, the openings for OSUs RB were so huge even I could have run through them.So I would say in Oregon's case - coaching. Those kids are either being developed or they know how to use the strengths of the kids they have.
