ARLINGTON, Texas -- Oregon receivers coach Matt Lubick denied a report that said he's been hired for the same position at Florida.

Following Oregon's 42-20 loss to Ohio State in the national championship game, Lubick was asked by Matt Prehm of DuckTerritory about a Gatorcountry.com report that said that he's leaving Oregon to join new Florida coach Jim McElwain's staff. The report says Lubick has been hired to coach the Gators' receivers.

In the locker room after the game, Lubick said the report was untrue.

"No, nothing to that," Lubick told Prehm. He was then asked if he would be coaching at Oregon next season, to which he replied "Yes."

Lubick, 42, joined the Ducks' staff in 2013, coming from Duke, to replace Scott Frost who was hired as Oregon's offensive coordinator. Lubick is credited with keeping in tact an Oregon receiving corps that lost numerous players to graduation, the NFL and injuries.

Lubick made a base salary of $325,000 this season for Oregon.
