Valdez is a 6-0, 194 lbs. redshirt junior from Detroit, MI (Madison HS) who is listed as a Wide Receiver after lining up at Running Back last season to help with depth issues, finished fourth on the team with 103 yards on 12 carries for an 8.6 YPC average and also added 18 catches for 102 yards and a touchdown. He has played in a total of 21 games, also adding two tackles on special teams.
