Our man to man is predicated on pressure. Even the very best man corners can't sustain for more than 5-7 seconds. With no rush, which happens with the loss of an Easley, causes man coverage to break down leaving some receivers very open. Even an average QB can take advantage of that. We have made some average and very green QBs look very good. |

O'Brien did not have that full of a cupboard. Remember that players were allowed to leave and some did. His freshman qb has been doing very well. They are playing a lot of young players, Still, I think the verdict is on Muschamp. I think he was a Billy D type of hire by Foley. Billy D obviously was a great hire. Will Muschamp grow into a great coach? If Muschamp would have had a first year record like this, we might have cut him some slack, but he has had time. Should we be looking for any new assistant coaches? It seems like our D coach was a step down. I am not convinced that press man to man is good every play. Is it because our d-line cannot get to the qb in time? How would you grade our offensive line coach? Jerry Sent from my iPad
