IMO, after yesterday’s debacle, he’s a dead man walking, either Foley fires him now or next season, he’s dug such a huge hole, I don’t see how you recover.

 

Look at the SEC schedule next year….KY, @Bama, @UT, LSU, Missouri, UGA, USC, @Vandy…….I know things change and sometimes drastically, but looking at that lineup, I can easily see 3-5 or worse…at which point in your 4th year is beyond ridiculous…

 

With Art Briles signing a contract extension, perhaps he’s out as a candidate, the two top names on my list are Charlie Strong or James Franklin.

 

Charlie Strong know UF and what’s expected, he’s a defensive coach who doesn’t mind wide open football and throwing all over the field…

 

James Franklin is on the verge of winning 9 games again at Vandy and going to a bowl game for the 3rd year in a row…his offense has gotten progressively better at Vandy and I think some big time school will hire him soon, it just depends on which one…

I have had some time to reflect.  I am more disappointed with our defense than our offense.  I don't expect much with a fourth string qb with a second and third string offensive line.  We lost the game yesterday because of coaching, especially on defense.  We should never be giving up such long runs.

 

Muschamp was a project and Foley threw the dice and took a chance.  Last year it looked pretty good until the team seemed to give up in the bowl game.  I bet Foley is on the phone with some feelers out to some of the top coaches.  To save the recruiting class we will need to get a top coach.  If none are available, I think we have to wait.  

 

I don't think we can take a chance on an assistant coach like Kirby Smart.  We need a headliner. Perhaps O'Brien at Penn State?

I think if there is a coaching change, the earliest it might be is after signing day.  There needs to be a big change in the assistant coaches.

Yeah, I'm watching. I'm pretty much depressed about it, though. We're just so bad. I'm watching all these snippets of games during half time, and it doesn't matter what the game is or what team has the ball... every other team looks like they know what they're doing with the ball. We just look like we have no idea what to call, as coaches, or how to execute, as players. I don't know how any team can be this bad.
