Re: [gatortalk] Re: [gatornews] [SUN]: Florida, 3 SEC rivals at NCAAs

I'm confused by the bracket aspect. If you look at the semi final bracket it has the Gators vs Georgia so based on this if Georgia has a higher score than florida than Georgia advances but if it's the highest 3 scores on that side of the bracket than Florida could advance if they have one of the three highest scores in that bracket but "lose" to Georgia.

I wouldn't call that a "should".  That's a tough bracket.  LSU is #2 in the country, Alabama beat UF in the regular season (they had to have their biggest score of the year to do it, but still), and Georgia was close behind UF in the Regional (mainly because UF had to count an uncharacteristic fall on bars).

I'm still not 100% sure that it isn't the top 6 scores - it's hard to tell from looking at histories because since 2009, the top 6 scorers also happened to be the top 3 in each session.

The top three teams from each semi-final advance.

So, there will be six teams in the final.

We only have to be one of the top 3 to advance.

And, we should since we're the number 3 seed.

I'm a little confused about the semi finals. The brackets show we are against Georgia so I don't know if we only have to get a better score than them to make the super six or if we have to have one of the top 3 scores on our side of the semi's.
