I don't think this is a rule. They have been talking about implementing some kind of restrictions because most of these graduate transfers don't actually earn their graduate degree. But to my knowledge, the soonest any changes would take place is for the 2017/2018 school year. And the proposed changes wouldn't limit you from taking a transfer, it will just ding your APR scores.
But having said that, we don't want another graduate transfer. We need a QB of the future. I am still supportive of Mac and agree that the SECC game could've/should've been much closer but for a few plays and the complete inability for an SEC ref to call a penalty on an Alabama player... But, Mac made an error this year in not getting Franks or Trask at least some playing time this year, that may end up being his undoing.
