PANAMA CITY — Brooke Copeland scored 13 points and No. 23 Florida outscored North Carolina A&T 23-2 in the fourth quarter to roll to a 67-38 win Sunday.

The Gators (7-3) ended a two-game losing streak without the services of leading scorer, sophomore guard Eleanna Christinaki.

Christinaki, who was averaging 17.6 points per game, committed a "violation of team culture" and faced a first-half suspension Sunday, per UF. Christinaki left the program instead and is no longer listed on the team roster. Christinaki came to UF from Athens, Greece.

"Eleanna Christinaki has quit on her team,'' UF coach Amanda Butler said after Sunday's win. "Our team handled that just with I thought a great deal of pride, a great deal of grace, a great deal of effort and energy.

"I loved the response. I loved the energy. I loved the way they came out and played for each other."

Delicia Washington, who sat out the first half because of the same disciplinary decision as Christinaki's, had 10 points and Ronni Williams and Haley Lorenzen each had 10 rebounds for the Gators. Florida had a 54-38 advantage on the boards and held the Aggies (1-7) to 23 percent shooting (15 for 66) after a 1 for 14 fourth quarter that included nine misses behind the arc and six turnovers.
