WINTER PARK — Indiana was in control of the women's college basketball game from the start Tuesday in defeating Florida 102-88 in the Florida Sunshine Classic.

The Gators (7-4) will play Florida A&M (1-9) at 5:30 p.m. today.

Indiana (9-3) led 34-17 after the first quarter and 57-32 at intermission. UF made a late charge in the fourth period, but by then, the Hoosiers had a commanding lead.

Dalicia Washington led the Gators with 31 points, while Ronni Williams scored 22, Haley Lorenzen had 14 and Tyshara Fleming 13.

Stony Brook defeated Florida A&M 80-49 in the Classic's other game. Indiana will play Stony Brook today.
