Actually, Woody, you're probably right. Meyer & Co. essentially "broke" Brantley by trying to make him a running QB and then doing crazy crap like dive plays the first two downs (for little or no gain) and then make him pass on a 3rd and long. Over and over and over again, to the point that a three-year-old who'd never watched football before even knew that UF was going to pass on 3rd down. All those pressures, hurries, and sacks led to incompletions or interceptions, which effectively destroyed the poor guy's confidence.
