Less than 48 hours after 247Sports broke the news of Florida quarterback Treon Harristransferring, colleges have reached out inquiring interest.
Southern Miss, Texas State and Georgia State have all spoken to Harris' family. Several FCS programs including Florida A&M, Howard and Hampton have also made contact.
Many more programs — Minnesota, Kansas, SMU, Eastern Michigan, Jacksonville State, East Carolina, Coastal Carolina and Mercer, according to sources — have interest and have requested Harris' release so they have the option to make contact.
