Gators Notes: WR Demarcus Robinson demoted to third string, injury report
After recording a team-high six catches for 34 yards in the season opener, Demarcus Robinson was demoted from one of Florida's starting wide receivers to third string on the team's Week 2 depth chart.

The junior was listed behind Ahmad Fulwood (starter) and C.J. Worton (second string) on the depth chart, which was released Monday. Fulwood did not record a catch and Worton caught three passes for 23 yards and a touchdown against New Mexico State on Saturday.
"There are going to be a bunch of people play at that position," coach Jim McElwain said when asked about moving Robinson down on the depth chart. "At the end of the day, it's about doing what's right and really what you put on film. And so, in that, there are some guys that did some really good things."
McElwain didn't go into specifics on his reason for moving Robinson to third string, but it was clear that the first-year Gators coach wasn't impressed by his play against the Aggies.
"I think we have to understand that each and every one of us are responsible for our actions," McElwain said when asked if the demotion was meant to send a message to Robinson. "Whatever those actions are, be proud of what you put on film and give up yourself for the benefit of others, that's what it's all about."
Robinson was Florida's best receiver last season. He finished the year with 53 catches for 810 yards and seven touchdowns, which were all team highs.
Before McElwain finished his press conference Monday, he tried to downplay the importance of the depth chart and admitted Robinson would still play Saturday despite being listed as a third-team receiver.
"(Demarcus) will still play," McElwain said. "As I told you guys, what are depth charts? As you look at rep counts, I think some guys probably that weren't No. 1 on the depth chart probably played a bunch more than guys that were on there, I don't know."
Injury report: Freshman offensive tackle Martez Ivey (knee) and junior safety Keanu Neal's (leg) availability is in question for the second consecutive week.
Ivey and Neal did not dress for the opener against New Mexico State, as they watched on from the sideline with injuries.
"Both of them are doing well, but as you know we won't put them in until they're cleared 100 percent and ready to roll," McElwain said of Ivey and Neal. "We're hopeful they can get in and help us this week as we move forward."
McElwain added that the team survived the opener without suffering an injury other than "normal bangs and bruises."
