Yeah, that was my first thought, too. Coach Mac said he was waiting for one of them to step forward and take the position. Neither of them has done that, but now Harris has stepped back and given it away. Whatever one thinks about whether pot should be legal, it is currently not legal and it was a selfish decision on his part to deprive the team of his talents so he could get high. Given Harris' previous legal issues, and that he doesn't seem willing to adjust his behavior, you also have to wonder whether it would be a good investment to make him the starting QB when he could turn out suspended or arrested at any time. Even if coach doesn't look at it that way, Harris won't get many reps this week and Grier will have another entire game's worth of experience. Unless Grier plays very poorly on Saturday, I think he will be our starter for the season.

Mac said they "chose" not to play this weekend and it was not a suspension and they would be available next week. Makes me wonder if they missed a class or meeting. Dumb, dumb, dumb for whatever reason.
