Rice 1976 was the worst until FSU 84. I was at the game in 1984, I was on the first row of the endzone opposite Nattiel's winning catch, never saw it. Couldn't see past 70 yards for all the rain.

I'm pretty sure there was more rain then than than the Idaho game. It's for sure the rainiest game I've been to (and I've been to a few wet ones). I'd say maybe the '84 game vs FSU at Doak Campbell might have been worse (might) - but I was warm and dry in my dorm for that one.

I think that is the one. I think it's also the home game where a monsoon broke out during the Gators' huge comeback. I remember that game as being very exciting...and very wet. Even the overhang didn't protect us.

The 95 game was on the SEC channel rewind show last night. This was the one that the Gators won 62-37. I usually don't watch a lot of old games but this one caught my attention and I watched most of it. Hard to believe it was 20 years ago. Keith Jackson was calling the game and of course many Gator greats such as Wuerffel, Bates, Fred Taylor, Wright, Hanks, Anthony, Doering etc. When I started watching it I couldn't remember exactly who won but then when I saw Manning was the qb for the vols it was easy to remember he NEVER beat the Gators.
