Vernon is a 5' 11", 199 lbs. true junior Cornerback from Tampa (Wharton HS) who has played in 24 games, with 22 starts, recording 88 tackles (57 solo) including two tackles for a loss, six interceptions, 24 pass breakups and two fumble recoveries. He has been honored with many post-season accolades including a First Team All-America selection by Sporting News, ESPN.com and CBSSports.com.
