Gators add CB Jayvaughn Myers to 2016 recruiting class
Anthony Chiang, The Palm Beach Post
The Gators added another defensive back to its 2016 football recruiting class.
Dade City Pasco cornerback Jayvaughn Myers (watch his highlight tape) verbally committed to Florida on Tuesday, announcing his decision on Twitter. The Gators now have five defensive backs in their 2016 recruiting class, which is headlined by four-star Cocoa cornerback Chauncey Gardner.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Myers is rated as a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports. He holds offers from schools like Auburn, Florida State and Miami.
Myers visited the University of Florida multiple times in June and attended the program's Friday Night Lights camp on July 24 with his half-brother Nate Craig-Myers, who is a five-star 2016 wide receiver from Tampa Catholic.
