I'm also worried about the fact that he is 19. I was 18 at this point in my Senior year of high school.
I certainly matured a lot more between 17 and 19 than I did between 19 and 21.
I wonder if Jefferson looked like a man among boys in high school because he was, literally, a man among boys.
