Accu-Weather.com said there were approximately '8,800 lightning strikes around the state' Saturday night. (AP)

There was great uncertainty Saturday night over whether the Idaho-Florida game would be rescheduled or simply declared a rare football rainout.

There was no update as of Sunday morning.
