The Florida football team landed a Georgia recruit on Thursday and could get another one Friday.

Atlanta Lakeside offensive lineman Mike Horton pledged to UF over offers from Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Ohio State, among others.
On his Twitter account, Horton wrote: "I am officially a Florida Gator ... Only gators get out alive!"
He was offered by UF after attending the Florida State game last November and returned for the Orange & Blue Debut on April 12. The 6-foot-4, 310-pounder is a member of the ESPN300, but other sites rate him as a three-star prospect.
Four-star linebacker Adonis Thomas, a close friend of Horton's from Lawrenceville (Ga.) Central Gwinnett, announces Friday at 6:30 p.m. between Florida and Alabama.
The Gators now have nine members in their 2015 class. Verbal commitments are not binding until recruits sign their national letters of intent.
