We have not stopped our instillation at all for them
Instillation is a word. Nor is he talking about making moonshine.
Well said Coach Muschamp!

UF working on answers at several positions, including backup for Jeff Driskel
Florida offensive coordinator Kurt Roper talks to quarterbacks Skyler Mornhinweg (8) and Will Grier (7) during practice earlier this month. Mornhinweg, Grier and Treon Harris are playing for the No. 2 spot behind starter Jeff Driskel.

With only two days left in preseason camp, the Florida Gators still have a few unknowns they're trying to work through and resolve on the practice field. The biggest has to do with quarterback.
As in, who is going to be the No. 2 guy behind junior starter Jeff Driskel?
That one is still too early to call, UF coach Will Muschamp said Monday.
"Right now, really no separation at quarterback behind Jeff," Muschamp said. "We'll continue to work throughout the week. We don't have a definite timetable on that right now. Just after watching the film on Saturday there was some good and bad. We'll continue to work through that."
Although three quarterbacks are still vying for the backup role, it's looking more and more like it's going to come down to a decision between the two true freshmen — early enrollee Will Grier and Treon Harris.
Grier and Harris have been sharing most of the reps with the No. 2 offense and the two have been in what appears to be a virtual dual heat going back to early last week.
"Very close," Muschamp said. "I think that there have been a lot of positives, but I feel like sometimes we take two steps forward and one step back. As far as getting rid of the football, we've tried to narrow down the package with all of those guys, not do as much as we're doing with Jeff.
"But we also can't inhibit our offense to continue to move forward, because we're already making some progress at other positions. Not that we're not making progress there, but sometimes you've got to simplify some things to get the execution where you want it."
Grier and Harris have both been effective at times running the offense, and both have hit numerous plays in the passing game, some on deep throws for touchdowns. Both, however, have struggled with consistency at times, especially in decision making and getting rid of the football.
Coming out of high school, Harris was considered the better runner of the two.
Muschamp was asked Monday if Harris' running ability could impact the impending decision.
"Well sure, but Will is a good athlete, too, and he can do some things with his legs," Muschamp said. "We're factoring all of those things in as far as some of the things we want to do moving forward offensively schematically."
Deciding on who Driskel's backup is not the only unknown the Gators are confronted with in camp. They still don't know who the starters are going to be at one safety position and one cornerback position. And they still haven't decided on a starting punter.
At this late stage, the only two sure starters in the secondary are sophomore cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III and sophomore safety Keanu Neal.
"Still no separation in the secondary, other than Vernon and Keanu," Muschamp said. "We've got some guys who have done some decent things, we just have to be more consistent. Our coaches need to get off the field and let the players play. That's what we're going to do more of moving forward."
At the corner spot opposite Hargreaves, junior Brian Poole is locked in a battle with true freshmen Quincy Wilson and J.C. Jackson, while at the other safety position, senior Jabari Gorman is competing with true freshman Duke Dawson and redshirt freshman Marcell Harris for the starting role.
Muschamp said there is some concern over the big pass plays the secondary has given up to the offense. In Friday's scrimmage, sophomore wide receiver Ahmad Fulwood caught a 97-yard touchdown pass from Driskel. The offense hit two other big pass plays in the scrimmage.
"We had about three 50-50 balls and didn't make the plays defensively and we made them on offense. That's encouraging on one side of the ball, on the other side, it's not so good," Muschamp said. "We're going to play man-to-man. We're going to play tight coverage. There's going to be a bunch of 50-50 balls and we've got to go make those plays.
"Those young guys are coming along. We're throwing a lot at them. We have not stopped our instillation at all for them, so they can understand we're getting ready for the season and not one game. That's what's been good."
As for the starting punting job, senior Kyle Christy and sophomore Johnny Townsend have pretty much been equal through most of camp.
"Both have punted extremely well," Muschamp said. "Kyle has been more consistent probably to this point, but we still haven't made a decision."
Muschamp said if Christy, a finalist for the Ray Guy Award two years ago, wins the job, Townsend likely will be redshirted this season.
"That would be the thing," Muschamp said. "But, again, we haven't made a decision there. That is something we've talked about."
