What exactly is the point of being 'suspended' in the summer if the only implication of a suspension is not appearing in actual games? That is hardly a disincentive to criminal behavior. This works out perfectly for Wilson, with the state attorney having plenty of time to reduce the charge to a misdemeanor before there are any consequences at all. Way to send a tough message, there, Jimbo.RobP.S. Yeah, I know. I'm not really surprised at the action by FSU, so much as I am at how matter-of-fact it appears to be to the media.
Sent from my iPhoneFSU spokesman Rob Wilson said the athletics department's code of conduct forbids a player from representing the team when charged with a felony. Jesus Wilson is not eligible to play or travel, but can practice and is not automatically kicked off the team.--
