The NBA draft is only two rounds at this point, so anyone who was not drafted last night is a free agent.

A number of teams stockpiled European players in the second round who are already under contract with a European team.

I guess the thought is that they get to develop their talents on someone else's payroll.

However, the result is that about 10 less players were drafted than might otherwise have been, including Patric.
