Has Florida found its fullback for 2014?

(Gainesville SUN Gatorsports.com)

With Hunter Joyer and Gideon Ajagbe entering their junior seasons at Florida, the Gators would like to sign a fullback in 2014 if they have room.
Right now there's only have 15 scholarship available for next year, but as always, a couple juniors could leave early for the NFL and some attrition will occur. The UF coaches checked out a few fullback prospects during the evaluation period, but one has emerged as the leading candidate to make it in the class.

St. Petersburg Admiral Farragut Academy's Cortavious Givens camped at Florida over the weekend and impressed running backs coach Brian White.
"He told me he loved everything I did. He complemented me on a lot of things and that was a big plus," said Givens, who heavily favors UF.
The 5-foot-10, 220-pounder was limited in 2012 after tearing his ACL during his sophomore season. He played mostly linebacker and has only received a few offers as a running back because of it. And while Gators like him at fullback due to his size and physicality, they want to make sure he hasn't lost a step before offering.
"They had me come out to camp so they could see me run around after coming off ACL surgery," he said. "Coach White told me I looked good and I don't need to come back anymore. He just needs to see some of my senior film because I didn't play much my junior year. So I just have to ball out those first few games and hopefully I can get that offer."
Givens will camp at Florida State and Florida Atlantic this month and plans to return to Gainesville in July.
"I'll be back for Friday Night Lights," he said. "Coach White told me I don't need to, but I want to be there so I can compete and get better."
