Collier County Gator Club doesn't exist anymore; and - even when it did - it was decades since a coach of note appeared.

I think Billy D in his first year is the last one I remember.

Without support, we couldn't sell dinner and golf tickets, couldn't give scholarships and it ended up folding.

Compare that with when Spurrier and Kruger would alternate; lots of tickets sold, the students who won the scholarships would speak; they were glorious events.

Alas, no more.
