The Florida men's basketball team was ranked ninth in the final USA Today Coaches' Poll. This marks the third straight year the Gators have finished in the top-10 of the final coaches' poll.

UF finished the season with an overall record of 29-8 and an in-conference mark of 14-4. The Gators' 29 victories tied for third in program history. In addition, the team earned its sixth all-time SEC Championship and its fourth outright title. Florida advanced to the regional finals of the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season, the only team in the nation to do so.
