Re: [gatortalk] O&B game new format

Here's something really easy the school can do for fans: open up some of the stinking practices.  I hear lots of discussion that some of the lack of excitement on the fan side stems from a feeling of being more distant from the program.  I'm not sure I agree completely, but I do know that we get less of a true feel of what to expect from the team, players, etc over the summer because of the limited access for both the general public and the media.

I've gotten the impression over the last couple of seasons that Muschamp would like to de-emphasize the spring game anyway. Several schools don't make a big deal out of their spring practice and I believe a few don't even hold a spring game.

Its hard to believe you would admit that publicly. ;-). I think for penance you need to buy a separate skybox at the Swamp and make it available only to us Gator Talkers.

I suspect that the fact they're refunding anyone who paid should be a sign.  I myself am going to the Lacrosse game at noon.
