RE: [gatortalk] Paula & LiVonia working on new Lyons' home

I’ve always known Paula was sweet, patient, longsuffering, and able to overlook serious character flaws in those that she associates with on a regular basis. (hint, hint!)

 

Leon, on the other hand, has always been ornery and obnoxious. Well, I have seen another side of the old fart today. He and Paula drove to Callahan and worked all day with us as we were finishing up the gutting of the house we are renovating. ON HIS BIRTHDAY, NO LESS!

 

So… I must re-evaluate my previous opinion of one of my oldest (literally) and dearest friends. He’s actually a 70 year old, sweet and generous, ornery and obnoxious old fart. J

 

Thank you, Leon & Paula. We enjoyed the company more than the work, (see attached) but nonetheless, Paula rocked on that tile stripping machine, didn’t she? We appreciate you guys very much. J

 

Incidentally, I realize your spell checker got you, but for everyone else’s sake, she is not named after a town in Georgia. Her name is actually spelled “LaVonda”. If you use a French accent, and put the emphasis on the “V”, you’ll get an idea of what I think of her.
