Florida's 2018 class picked up its second verbal commitment Saturday from an in-state wide receiver on an official visit in Gainesville.
Justin Watkins, a 6-foot-0, 175-pound wide receiver out of Clermont (Fl.) East Ridge, verbally committed to the Gators and coach Dan Mullen while taking an official visit at UF.
Watkins, ranked a four-star prospect and the No. 21 wide receiver in the 2018 class by 247Sports, is the first wide receiver to commit to UF's cycle.
With Watkins' commitment, which is non-binding until he signs a letter of intent Feb. 7 on National Signing Day, is the 15thprospect committed to UF's 2018 class, and just the second who has to yet to enroll early or sign a letter of intent.Sent From Shane's iPhone--Go Gators! & Skål Vikes!
