I think giving Franks another shot is the right move. Charlie

Florida redshirt freshman quarterback Feleipe Franks, who was benched early in the second half in the loss to Michigan on Saturday, will start Saturday's game against Northern Colorado, UF coach Jim McElwain announced Monday."We'll go back with Feleipe. That was kind of the plan," McElwain said.
Franks was benched after he lost a fumble the first offensive series in the third quarter.
Franks led the Gators to a field goal on the game's first possession. For the game, he completed five of nine passes for 75 yards.
He was replaced by Notre Dame graduate transfer Malik Zaire, who also had a rough day, getting sacked five times, losing a fumble and completing nine of 17 passes for 106 yards.
Also, McElwain said defensive back Chauncey Gardner and tight end DeAndre Goolsby had MRIs. And added that fourth-team QB Kyle Trask was injured in practice last week and many need a pin in his foot.
McElwain didn't give an update on the nine suspended players for the alleged card scam. Freshman receiver James Robinson (cited for marijuana) will return this week, he said.
"I haven't heard anything," the UF coach said.
