Canyon Barry is such a great addition to the team. I know his grandparents here in St Pete.

The Gators rallied from down five points with under three minutes remaining in regulation and beat Georgia 80-76 in overtime before a sold-out crowd at Exactech Arena.

Senior forward Canyon Barry led the way for the Gators (14-3, 5-0 SEC) with a team-high 27 points off the bench. Redshirt freshman forward Keith Stone added 17 points off the bench, while point guard Kasey Hill had 11 points and four assists.

Hill made one of two free throws with 6.7 seconds left to tie the score at 67 and force overtime. From there, Florida turned to Stone and Barry in the extra session. Stone made a big 3-pointer to put Florida up 72-70 with 4:31 left in overtime. Then, with Florida clinging to a 73-72 lead, Barry made a hustle play on an offensive rebound, drawing a foul and converting two free throws with 1:55 left to extend UF's lead to 75-72.

Barry's two free throws with 16.7 seconds left put Florida up 79-76, and Georgia senior guard J.J. Frazier missed a desperation turn-around 3-pointer with 5.8 seconds left. John Egbunu made one of two free throws to settle the margin.

Frazier led Georgia (11-6, 3-2 SEC) with 25 points.
