A redshirt junior linebacker Matt Rolin is no longer on the team, Florida announced via Twitter today. Coach Jim McElwain will address the matter at his scheduled news conference this afternoon.
Rolin, from Ashburn, Va., played in only three games over three seasons because of injuries.
Rolin tore the ACL in his left knee as a true freshman in August 2013 and missed the 2013 and 2014 seasons. He was sidelined by a herniated disk to start last season.
