One of my other online friends died this week,aged 62, and two real life friends, 69 and 72, died over the holidays. Very unsettling. All men. Lots of new widows.

Wow, I am so sorry to hear about this.  Though I never met Randy, after all these years on GatorTalk in its various iterations, I sort of feel like I've lost a distant family member.

You may not know me since I have been a silent member here for many many years only reading and commenting to my fraternity brother and friend Randy Platt.

 

I'm not sure if this group has been made aware that Randy Platt (rpcpa) passed away in his sleep on Wednesday morning.  He will surely be missed by me and others in the group.
