Re: [gatortalk] Callahan out as DB coach

A clue about Callahan might have been revealed by a response Zach Abolverdi of the AJC included in his column.  He asked former UF DB commit Jayvaughn Myers and his response was something to the effect of Kirk Callahan was the reason he DE-committed from UF, that his relationship with Callahan was "not close".  Jayvaughn Myers' brother is WR target Nate Craig-Myers; when JM was committed to UF, NCM was considered a strong UF lean.  Now both brothers are expected to go to Auburn.

I've seen things that say it was 25% on-field and 75% recruiting performance that got Callahan dismissed.  Had to be a good reason, because the Gators are on the hook for Callahan's salary in 2016.
