It depends how those losses occur. If the offense still looks like a heaping pile of you-know-what, the money (big-dollar Boosters) will call for his head and get it. I think 8-4 would be acceptable if the team is actually competitive in its losses, the players show growth, and the team can manage more than 100 yards passing and 20 points a game. Let's face it, it's not just wins, we want to be entertained. There was a lot of grousing when Meyer was winning but the offense was looking a bit anemic.
