The kid is a bona fide elite receiver. The problem is not really the kid
playing both sides against each other. His HS coach is mixed up in this
and it really smells fishy. Demarcus grew up a Gator fan, but his HS
coach is openly pushing the kid to Clemson. When he visited G'ville, he
changed his committment to UF. His coach was interviewed and was upset
and said that he intended to "get things straight" with Demarcus when he
returned home. (personal opinion - reading between the lines. I think
coach is getting greased by Clemson boosters to direct the kid to
Clemson) Demarcus after meeting with the coach re-committed to
Clemson........ now that he is away from the coach again at the All Star
game has said that he will announce his final choice at the All Star
game. Many of the "recruitnik" insiders think he will be a Gator. Lots
of pressure on a 17 - 18 year old kid sometimes.
