Re: [gatortalk] Re: Ugh

no you are not.

They played scared.. and They played not to lose.  Thats not to say there was a lack of effort.. thats not the case... Florida was the better team... they just didnt show it Saturday.  We werent out schemed.. we were out execute or protect the ball very well.  Even the locals here in muttville know UGAly escaped with a win.  And they know it wasnt a convincing win.  I have only had a few barking at me (who I quickly shuddup).. the majority of them know what the real story was saturday... theyre QB is taking alot of heat right now for the way he played.

I deleted the game from my DVR the instant it ended, so I haven't double-checked this, but in response to all the talk around Tampa about no adjustments & Pease's scheme problems, didn't we have two 4th quarter drives? Didn't we get a few first downs once to cut it from 10-6 to 10-9, and then again have a number of first downs to get it inside the mangy dawg 5?

If I have any coaching concerns, they aren't about offensive adjustments (or lack thereof), but are more about whether the turnovers occurred because we were too psychologically tight.

Am I out in left field?
